Welcome to your Totally Showers Picture Gallery
I hope these images prove useful and give you some idea about what's possible from a simple shower installation to a level-access Wetroom.
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank all our customers for using Totally Showers and permitting the use of these images for your benefit.
To simplify matters I have arranged each set of images in the same way in groups of three, Before, During and Complete
Set 1. Changing an old Dolphin shower for an Aqualisa pumped digital ..the features of the new shower is the lack of disturbance to the wall tiles as the pipes are cleverly hidden in the riser rail that holds the Handset1: Before | 2: During | 3: Complete |
Set 2 : Old Tiling and abandoned Shower room spruced up... although these tiles look grotty they were all fairly sound so no point in creating unnecessary building work and extra cost for their removal. Instead we covered them in Aquapanels and added a new surface mounted shower for which the customer sent a rather nice thankyou card.
1: Before | 2: During | 3: Complete |
Set 3 : Changing the Shower and trying to match the existing wall tiles.. is always a problem and in this shower room to make matters worse the mosaic feature border tiles go right through the centre of the shower
Image 1 : Is a Bathstore Shower that the customer informed me had already been fitted with 2 new replacement thermostatic cartridges so it was decided to upgrade to a Mira, the problem would be the border
Image 2 : Shows the size of the hole (black cement) that needs to be filled, the tile below the two pipes is also new and ungrouted if you look
Image 3 : Shows the new surface mounted Mira Excel, we put the old mosaics in a bucket of water for 48 hours to remove the tile adhesive and then each one was individually refixed
1: Before | 2: During | 3: Complete |
Set 4 : Installations where we strongly recommend Aqua Panels and a sealed floor
Basically anywhere that water can escape onto the walls and floor in this illustration the feature was a free-standing claw foot bath with a bath-shower mixer and the customer did not want any form of shower curtain
If while bathing in a Free Standing bath you put your arms on the side of the bath or stand up the water will drip onto the floor and the 'run off' can be substantial so in this instance the walls and floor were sealed first with a hidden gulley under the bath
This is basically a bathroom fitted within a Wetroom

Set 5. Something we often get asked is 'do we do other things ?'.....well the answer is 'Yes' we do on occasion, this is a Kitchen fit for a customer of many years who knew I used to design and fit kitchens for Southern Electric, image 1 and image 3 are taken from exactly the same position and are classic 'before' and 'after' pictures, all the works were 'in house' with the exception of actually fitting the Marble Granite Worktop. The image in the middle is the plastering of the new ceiling ready for modern Downlighters which can be seen in image 3 above each wine racks.
